Howard played his second game after a brief absence during the holiday period but it didn't help his club capture a victory. The former NBA center scored 17 points on 5-for-12 shooting, grabbed 13 rebounds, and dished out 4 assists but the Leopards got defeated by Kaohsiung Aquas.
It was the 10th loss for Howard's team in a row. The overtime win in Howard's debut is still the only victory the Leopards have managed to achieve this season. With a single win and 11 losses, the Leopards are dead last in the league, trailing all remaining five teams by at least 4 wins.
Howard has played in 6 matches this season so far, averaging 23.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game. He's third on the team (#5 in the league) in scoring, second (#2 in the league) in rebounds, and first (#9 in the league) in assists.
The Leopards will now have a three-week break. After five more road games, the Taoyuan team will come back to the home court on March 11th.
