James (West Frontcourt), Giannis (East Frontcourt), the Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry (West Guards), and the Brooklyn Nets' Kyrie Irving (East Guards) are the leaders in their respective position groups.
Serbian and Slovenian stars rank just behind the first-place holders. Nikola Jokic is second in the Western Conference frontcourt, while Luka Doncic occupies the same spot in the Western Conference backcourt.
Lauri Markkanen (7th, West frontcourt), Domantas Sabonis (10th, West frontcourt), and Paolo Banchero (8th, East frontcourt) are other Old Continent representatives who made the third cut.
Sabonis entered the Top 10 for the first time in this year's voting. Coach Mike Brown, famous rapper 50 Cent, and other stars were pleading for All-Star consideration for Sabonis.
Fans account for 50% of the vote to decide All-Star starters. NBA players and a media panel account for 25% each.
