A few days after giving his first interview to Bosnian channel N1, the free agent player appeared on the Greek OPEN TV where he urged leaders of all countries in the world to take action against Turkey's leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"I want all world leaders, I want all the NATO members, I want Western leaders to take some action against Erdogan. I want prime minister [Kyriakos] Mitsotakis to take some real action against Erdogan," Kanter Freedom said.

"I understand the relationship between the two countries is very important but Erdogan is going to attack Greece one day," he told.

Kanter Freedom has been marked as a member of the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization/Parallel State Structure and is officially wanted by the Turkish government. Up to 10 million Turkish liras (~€490,000) are promised as a reward for those who give information that leads to the capture of a wanted person.

Kanter Freedom has been an outspoken critic of Recep Tayyip Erdogan's authoritarian regime in Turkey for numerous years now. After a coup attempt in 2016, Erdogan has cracked down on his critics.

Kanter Freedom is a free agent now and hasn't been picked up by any NBA team since February of last year.
