Of course, there is one more condition to be fulfilled. Red Star need to stay in the competition because the club threatened to leave the Serbian Cup earlier today.
Crvena Zvezda are not happy that Partizan were not punished for withdrawing from the Serbian Basketball League playoffs last summer and will decide whether to participate in the Radivoj Korac Cup tournament in February (until the start of the cup).
The 8-team playoff competition for the domestic trophy will be held in Nis from February 15th until February 18th.
KK Mega Basket–KK Vojvodina and KK FMP–KK Metalac are the other two matchups in the Serbian Cup quarterfinals, on the other side of the bracket.
Radivoj Korac Cup was founded in 2002. Reigning champions Zvezda and runner-ups Partizan have won the trophy eight times each.
