With NBA player contracts published to the tiniest of details, the deals the coaches and especially the executives sign usually remain well-hidden from the public eye.

While researching the topic of Golden State Warriors president of basketball operations Bob Myers, The Athletic's Anthony Slater, Marcus Thompson II, and Sam Amick found out who are the highest-paid executives in the league.

Myers is believed to be around 6th, 7th, or 8th in the league, several knowledgeable people told the three journalists.

Daryl Morey (Philadelphia 76ers), Masai Ujiri (Toronto Raptors), Pat Riley (Miami Heat), Tim Connelly (Minnesota Timberwolves), R.C. Buford (San Antonio Spurs), and Leon Rose (New York Knicks) are considered to be the highest-paid executives in the NBA.

The top-level people in the clubs made upwards of $10 million, league sources tell The Athletic.
