"My thoughts are with Elias [Harris] because he played well. I hope he can come back soon," Trinchieri said after the game.
The German big man was on his way to consolidating his role in the team, as he was out at the start of the season due to a long-term injury.
On Friday night, Harris stumbled on a post-up attempt against Alessandro Pajola with 36 seconds remaining in the first quarter.
Pajola then lost his balance and accidentally fell on top of Harris. The latter player was helped off the court. He could not put any pressure on his injured foot.
"When a player gets injured, I can never be happy. Despite a win!" Trinchieri said.
Bayern have been hit hard in terms of injury misfortune this season. With Andreas Obst and Vladimir Lucic sidelined, two players are already missing long-term from the starting lineup.
To the accumulation of injuries, Trinchieri has only one comment: "Stupid injuries!"
The 54-year-old Italian also said that Elias Harris would have an MRI to find out the extent of the foot setback.
Otherwise, Bayern's specialist was very pleased with his team's performance, as they endured Bologna's "peak phases", in which Toko Shengelia and Milos Teodosic worked their magic offensively.
