The Olympiacos Piraeus guard has suffered a hematoma of the quadratus lumborum muscle in the spine.

Sloukas has been ruled out for the match against Aris Thessaloniki in the Greek League on Sunday. Additionally, he's doubtful for the EuroLeague game in Turkey next Tuesday against Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul.

With just over 4 minutes left in the second quarter, Sloukas drove to the basket during a fast break when he was stopped by Jarrell Martin in the paint. Although a defensive foul was called, the guard fell awkwardly on his back during the play.

A minute later, the star guard asked to be substituted as he couldn't continue playing at full strength.

Olympiacos went on to win the game. With 14 wins and 7 losses, the Greek team is currently at the top of EuroLeague standings.
