The club has officially announced that Shabazz Napier is joining the team until the end of the season.

"As the crucial part of the season approaches, we decided to focus on a highly motivated player with the right skills to help us immediately and then throughout the season," Olimpia's general manager Christos Stavropoulos said.

"I am very excited to play for this organization and to be coached by a great group of coaches and play alongside other great players. I am looking forward to play in front of the Olimpia fans and for the opportunity to celebrate wins with all of them," the player said following the signing.

Napier last played in the G-League with the Capitanes de Ciudad de México.

Last season, Napier signed with Zenit St. Petersburg in the summer of 2021, but an injury knocked him out early and he didn't manage to debut in the EuroLeague at all.
