During a EuroLeague game againstFC Bayern Munich at home last month, Partizan fan Damir Djordjevic proposed to his long-time girlfriend Jovana Aleksic in the middle of the court of the Stark Arena, causing a roaring applause from the crowd. The Frenchman was invited to be the best man and fulfilled his promise.

A day after a derby win, the couple got married with Lessort as a guest nearby.

"It was an honor for me to be invited and of course to be the best man at such a beautiful celebration. I'm happy for them, for the people, I had a great time," the player told Bojan Brezovac from Mozzart Sport. "It was my first wedding in Serbia, I wanted to see what it looks like here and I was very happy to be a part of their day."

"It was cool, the wedding, the celebration, the singing, it was a little different than what we do in France," he explained. "It's just a way of celebrating, it's a little different, here everything was in one place, I don't know if it's like that, but I really liked how it was. We all had fun, and that's the most important thing."

Lessort is one of the most beloved members of the roster by Partizan fans. He's frequently seen dancing and celebrating with them after matches, a feat he once again did after the match in the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall on Friday.

"I just try to be who I am, people see the real me and they probably like that. My energy or fighting spirit, I don't know what it is, but that's who I am both on and off the court," Lessort told. "They accepted me as a person."

Lessort ended up not playing in Sunday's game against Mornar-Barsko zlato in the ABA League but head coach Zeljko Obradovic wasn't dissatisfied. On the contrary, he congratulated the player on coming to the wedding.

"This is how best men are chosen here.He is a man who is full of energy and desire. He is always positive and that is the most positive thing that could happen," the specialist said.
