Hours after officially confirming the signing of Matt Thomas, Panathinaikos Athens seem to have already found one more addition to the roster.

First reported by the Live Sport newspaper and later confirmed by other local outlets, the Greek team has reached an agreement with Peristeri bwin Athens' player Dimitrios Agravanis.

The player should sign a contract until the end of the 2024-25 season with a team option after each year, Georgios Kouvaris from Gazzetta.gr reports.

With numerous foreign players on the roster, the options in the market were limited for Panathinaikos. As reported by several Greek news outlets, there was no buyout in the contract.

With Thomas strengthening the backcourt, the team reportedly wanted to sign a player to the frontcourt. Even before Dwayne Bacon was signed, Panathinaikos were rumored to have been searching for an addition to the power forward position.

In 6 games in the Basketball Champions League (BCL) this season, Agravanis averaged 11 points and 4.5 rebounds for 9.5 PIR. His stats are similar in the Greek Basket League - 10.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists for 12.1 PIR.

With 8 wins and 13 losses, Panathinaikos currently sit in 15th place in the EuroLeague standings. The team will face off against Real Madrid and Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz this week.
