Credit: FIBA Credit FIBAAfter signing a contract with Matt Thomas to bolster their backcourt, Panathinaikos Athens have officially announced the mid-season addition to the frontline, as Greek big man Dimitrios Agravanis arrives in OAKA for the next 2.5 years.

The 28-year-old Greek NT member started the 2022-23 season with Peristeri, under coach Vassilis Spanoulis.
He averaged 11.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 9.5 PIR over six BCL games this season. His stats were similar in the Greek League: 10.8 points, 5.1 boards, and 2.3 assists for 12.1 PIR.
Agravanis was a member of Olympiacos for six years (2013-19). PAO is his seventh team during his 13-year professional career.
The 2.08-meter big man holds EuroLeague averages of 3.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.5 PIR in six seasons and 79 games (12 starts).
With 8 wins and 13 losses, Panathinaikos currently sit in 15th place in the EuroLeague standings. The team will face off againstReal MadridandCazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteizthis week.
