Enes Kanter Freedom criticizes U.S. President Joe Biden for not taking action against Turkey and its regime: "Whenever I see the president of the United States, the most powerful man in the world, literally going out and trying to have diplomacy with dictatorships, that's killing my heart."

White House Republicans in support of Enes Kanter Freedom are calling on President Joe Biden to consider sanctions against Turkish officials and entities behind a $500,000 bounty on the NBA star's head.

Their letter says: "It seems clear that Mr. Kanter Freedom is being targeted by Turkey for exercising his fundamental rights in expressing political opinions, which are protected under the U.S. Constitution."

Therefore they are asking the Joe Biden administration whether the president will take concrete action to hold those Turkish persons or entities responsible for any gross violations of internationally recognized human rights activist Enes Kanter Freedom.

In the wake of political dialogue, former Jazz, Thunder, Knicks, Trail Blazers, and Celtics big man appeared on Fox News and discussed the topic of why Joe Biden has been so silent when it comes to a bounty on a head of an American citizen.

"That's the question we have been trying to figure out for the last two years, actually, since he [Biden] took to office," Kanter Freedom pointed out. "I remember having lunch with one of the senators last year and I pretty much asked him, 'Do you think President Joe Biden knows my story?' And he said, 'Absolutely'. I have been trying to get in touch with Biden's administration and ask why he has not answered any of my calls. They pretty much said because Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Turkey are NATO allies: unfortunately, he is not going to answer you.

I said to the senator, 'The most powerful man in the world is scared of me, a 29-year-old NBA player.' The senator said, 'I cannot tell you he is scared, but basically he is.'

It's unacceptable because I am a U.S. citizen, I have death threats and I have a bounty on my head on U.S. soil and I want my president to go out and actually do something," Kanter Freedom said.

What does human rights activist want to see President Joe Biden doing in this situation?

"To take some concrete actions because enough is enough," he noted. "Erdogan has been abusing not just only my rights but so many people's. Right now, 17 thousand innocent women and almost one thousand kids and babies are growing up in Turkey jails. These people have nothing to do with politics.

All I am asking for President Joe Biden is to talk about human rights violations and actually put sanctions on individuals. Turkey does not act like a NATO ally. Turkey is more Russia's ally than America's ally. But people are saying that's not going to happen, Biden is afraid to take any kind of action against Turkey. It's unacceptable."

Kanter Freedom, who amended his last name to celebrate gaining U.S. citizenship in 2021, is on the Turkish government’s 2023 most-wanted list after years of speaking out against President Recep Erdogan's regime and its human rights abuses.

"I didn't think [when I became a U.S. citizen] that Biden is going to pick a dictator's side. That is breaking my heart. I have done nothing wrong in this country. I don't even have a parking ticket in this country. All I do, I talk about this beautiful country, the freedom, and the democracy we have.

But whenever I see the president of the United States, the most powerful man in the world, literally going out and trying to have diplomacy with dictatorships, that's killing my heart," Kanter Freedom concluded.
