The Detroit Pistons played an away game against the Dallas Mavericks Monday night. However, the team hasn't left the city of Dallas yet, and it's currently not clear when they will be able to.

The state of Texas is currently experiencing an ice storm that has severely disrupted the usual workflow of the two biggest airports in Dallas - Fort Worth and Love Field.

More than 1250 flights have already been canceled in Dallas and Austin and more than 45,000 people have been left without power, The New York Times report.

The weather issues affected the return of the Detroit Pistons basketball team as well. According to Detroit Free Press journalist Omari Sankofa II, the team stayed in Dallas for more than 24 hours after the match ended.

The team stayed the entire Tuesday night in Dallas as well, Sankofa II notes.

The Pistons are scheduled to play against the Washington Wizards at home at 7 PM. There are currently no news about any possible game time or date amendments if the Pistons do not manage to make it to Detroit in time.
