Malcolm Delaney, former EuroLeague star, did not miss an opportunity to share his thoughts as well. He recognizes Jokic's superiority over Embiid.
"Embiid dominant, but Jokic dominant and makes everybody around him better. Biggest difference between them. He does everything," Delaney wrote on his Twitter account.
Jokic, back-to-back NBA MVP, averages a triple-double of 25.1 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 10.0 assists over 44 matches this season.
Sixers big man, instead, leads the NBA in scoring -- 33.5 points -- to go along with 10.1 boards and 4.2 assists in 38 games.
The Philadelphia 76ers (33-17) are currently in third place in the Eastern Conference, while the Denver Nuggets (35-16) sit atop of the Western Conference standings.
Embiid, who missed out on selection as an All-Star Game starterlast week, insisted after their clash on Sunday that the duel wasn't about a personal rivalry with Jokic.
"It's not a rivalry, I love the big fella. Two-time MVP, one of the best players in the league and he's such a good player. I'm a big fan," Embiid said of Jokic following the 76ers' 126-119 victory, where Embiid posted 47 points and 18 rebounds to outmatch Nikola Jokic.
