With only three matches on the first day of Round 23, twelve teams continue their battle for the playoffs on Friday.

First, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul welcomed ALBA Berlin and comfortably bounced back after a tough loss on Tuesday.

Next, Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade won their 8th game in the last 10 against Zalgiris Kaunas. With a similar record and a blowout game in the first part of the season, the game could decide the team that participates in this year's playoffs.

In the third game of the day, AS Monaco faced off against Real Madrid in a fight between two of the top teams in the tournament. Mike James made a controversial decision with just 30 seconds to play in the game by passing up a wide-open three-point shot, and the home team fell against the Spanish giant.

Two Final Four teams competed against one another as Olympiacos Piraeus welcomed Anadolu Efes Istanbul in the Peace and Friendship Stadium. Sasha Vezenkov exploded in the third quarter, and the home team held on to the lead to capture the win.

Panathinaikos Athens lost decisively on Tuesday and looked to bounce back against Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz away from home but were once again not successful.

To finish the evening off, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne fought against Virtus Segafredo Bologna but suffered their second defeat in the double week.

All EuroLeague matches are broadcasted onEuroLeague TV.
