Bacon wanted to apologize for the middle finger gesture toward the Baskonia fans.
PAO star forward scored a two-point basket over Markus Howard with 8:01 remaining in the third quarter and immediately received a technical foul, after protesting the referees' decision not to call a foul on the play.
Bacon also got his fourth personal foul and went on the Panathinaikos bench. Some Baskonia fans allegedly teased him, and Bacon responded with a middle finger, showing it two times to home fans.
"Sometimes this game bring emotions that you can't control at the moment. I had all type of emotions flowing through the game and I apologize for my actions to their fans. Should not have taken it out on you guys and it won't happen again. I love the game and it's okay to show emotions, just not like that, never like that and I apologize again," Bacon wrote on Instagram.
