Clippers have emerged as a new potential suitor for Kyrie Irving alongside the Lakers, Mavericks, and Suns.

The Los Angeles Clippers have emerged in pursuit of a Kyrie Irving trade -- joining the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns, and others, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The Brooklyn Nets are proceeding in talks as though they're determined to find a deal for Irving ahead of Thursday's trade deadline, via the report.

LeBron James is an immense proponent of making a deal for his former Cavaliers teammate, and the Lakers are operating as a motivated suitor for Irving, Wojnarowski adds.

Irving, a seven-time All-Star, continues to prove that he is still one of the best point guards in the league, averaging 27.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game this season.

Named an All-Star Game starter, Irving was in media turmoil earlier this season after he promoted an antisemitic movie on his Twitter account. After refusing to apologize, the star player was suspended indefinitely by the team.

The player eventually came back to the court after missing two weeks of action.
