Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade center Hassan Martin is preparing for his return to the basketball court after nearly two months of absence.

Martin is among the 14 Red Star players who are flying to Tel Aviv to meet Maccabi on Thursday night.

Still, his playing time will depend on Dusko Ivanovic's decision. Martin injured his LCL during a EuroLeague Round 13 game against Zalgiris Kaunas back in December.

"I think it will be quite a difficult away game, they are a physical and aggressive team," Martin said ahead of a trip to Israel. "They have a lot of good players. But we are training hard and we are thirsty for victory. I feel good, I am one hundred percent ready."

In 13 EuroLeague games this season, Martin has averaged 5.5 points and 3.5 rebounds for 5.8 PIR. His stats in the ABA League are similar – 5.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists for 8.3 PIR.

"He's quite good physically but that's two months without a game. He started practicing with us but it takes time," coach Dusko Ivanovic said of Martin yesterday.

Crvena Zvezda have lost the last 4 games in the EuroLeague. The Serbian club will try to bounce back in Round 24.
