There have been a number of teams reaching out to Brooklyn on Durant, Wojnarowski also writes.
Per Chris Haynes from Bleacher Report, the Phoenix Suns were ready to pursue KD if he became available following the bombshell trade, which saw Irving moving to the Dallas Mavericks.
Durant hasn't played since January 8th due to a knee injury he suffered against the Miami Heat.
The Nets superstar forward is averaging 29.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.5 blocks in 36.0 minutes per contest across 39 games this season.
He has led Brooklyn to a 26-13 record in games he's appeared in, which would rank as the third-best winning percentage (66.7 percent) in the league this season.
Durant was recently named an All-Star for the 13th time in his career and an All-Star Game starter for the 11th time.
