LeBron James became the NBA's top scorer of all-time, passing the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and was immediately asked whether he considers himself the GOAT.

During the post-game show for TNT, Shaquille O'Neal asked LeBron whether he considers himself the greatest of all time after becoming the no. 1 in points scored.

Even though James didn't give a direct answer, but let everybody know that he's taking himself ahead of everyone.

"I'll let everybody else talk about it," LeBron said smiling. "It's a great barbershop talk. Listen, big fella. I will take myself against everybody that played this game. Everyone is going to have their favorite, everyone is going to decide who their favorite is."

"But I know what I brought to the table, what I bring to the table every single night, and what I can do on the floor. I always feel like I'm the best ever to play this game, but there are so many greats, and I'm happy being a part of this journey," James added.

Talking about the achievement itself, James admitted that he still can't believe what he just did.

"It's surreal," LeBron said. "It's something I never made a goal of mine, it just happened. Longevity, me being on the floor for three different franchises, going and trying to be the greatest I can be every single night, and having great teammates and coaches allowed me to be me."

"I don't know if it hit me a little bit on the floor with my family on the floor after it happened. I've seen my friends and family, but it didn't quite soak in just yet," LeBron continued.

At what point of his career LeBron saw that he might break the record?

"I never said that I'll go for it," James answered. "Once I saw the number getting closer and closer, me being available on the floor and being productive over the last couple of years, I was like, 'Wow'. I'm 2,000 points away, I'm 3,000 points away, I'm 4,000 points away."

"And I feel great. I told myself that it's possible. Whenever I read about the history of the game, I never thought this one will be touched. Especially the way Kareem played the game and how long he played the game. It's a complete honor to be a part of this game and the greats that played it," LeBron added.

Shaq also asked LeBron whether he could continue his career in the upcoming years. James said that everything depends on his mind.

"I know I can play a couple of more years," LeBron. "It's all about my mind. If I'm still motivated to compete for championships because I feel that's what I can still do for any group of guys and franchise. I can go out and still help to win a championship or multiple championships. That's my mindset. But it's all about my mind – if my mind is sharp and I'm motivated to prepare every single day, then I'll continue to play this game."
