Wojnarowski added that, despite a positive update from Nets coach Jacque Vaughn, there is still no target date for Durant's return to regular action.
It's been an exceptionally turbulent stretch for the Nets without their leading scorer, during which they have not only lost 9 of 14 games but also traded eight-time All-Star Kyrie Irvingto Dallas after he publicly asked out from the franchise he joined as a free agent in 2019.
Despite the slide, the Nets remain fifth in the Eastern Conference at 32-22, just one game behind fourth-place Cleveland. In the three games since Irving's trade demand/departure, second-year guard Cam Thomas has scored 44, 47, and 43 points.
Durant averages 29.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists in 39 games this season.
