In exchange, the Suns are sending the Nets a package including Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, four first-round picks, and additional draft compensation with Jae Crowder being involved as well, Charania writes.
TJ Warren is going to the Suns alongside Durant, Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN adds.
The Nets are getting unprotected picks in 2023, 2025, 2027, and 2029, Woj reports. Additionally, the teams will also do a 2028 draft pick swap.
Durant hasn't played since January 8th due to a knee injury he suffered against the Miami Heat. He will miss the All-Star Game as well.
The Nets superstar forward is averaging 29.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game this season.
The Suns have a new majority owner in Mat Ishbia, who was recently approved by the league to lead the organization. Ishbia introduced himself on Wednesday, promising a change in leadership and more wins in the future.
The undercover winner of the trade might be the Houston Rockets, who own next five Nets' first-round picks either via swap or trade following the James Harden trade to Brooklyn back in January 2021.
