First, the coach was asked if fouling Chris Jones or any other player while being up by two would have been a better strategy late in the game. The Montenegrin coach explained his decision.
"[I asked] to play defense, to play switch," Radonjic said. "This is always a discussion in the last possession [whether] to foul or not to foul. In these circumstances... Paris Lee played for almost 40 minutes, 1-5 man, 4 fouls, [Dwayne] Bacon was not in the best shape in this game, etc. My decision was to go with this. Unfortunately, they made [the shot]."
Later on, Radonjic was asked whether having Matt Thomas, Dwayne Bacon, and Derrick Williams together on the court was better than others that are more defensive-minded.
"I think that in switch defense, Derrick is much better than Gudaitis as a five," Radonjic explained.
