Rose Namajunas told a series of positive affirmations to Zalgiris players before the game. The entire Lithuanian team's roster watched a movie about her two days before the EuroLeague match against Baskonia.

Zalgiris Kaunas snapped a three-game losing streak in front of their home crowd in the EuroLeague against Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz. The win was seen by one of the brightest stars in mixed martial arts.

Former two-time UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas was in the stands in the Zalgirio Arena. On top of that, the 5 foot 5 fighter visited Zalgiris locker room before the game to inspire the team for the upcoming battle.

"It was very interesting because I came in there to talk about positive affirmations, a lot of my documentary is about that. I know the team has been having some hard seasons so I just wanted to share my positive affirmations especially because I needed that," Namajunas said during the game.

"I've been lazy, I haven't been doing my positive affirmations, even there was a moment when I tried to remember everything so it was a good reminder for me as well as for them that it's all about the mindset," the fighter explained. "You have to practice your positive mindset every day in addition to practicing physically."

Zalgiris guard Ignas Brazdeikis is a fan of Namajunas, he's been to one of her fights as well. The UFC star would love to teach him some moves but she'd do it with a bit of caution.

"I would love to, that'd be great," she said about teaching Brazdeikis. "He might still beat me up though, I don't know."

Besides visiting the game, Namajunas was here to present the recent movie about her called "Thug Rose: Mixed Martial Artist" by Marius Morkevicius. The entire Zalgiris Kaunas team watched the movie on Wednesday, two days before the EuroLeague game.
