James Harden will play his first game against the Brooklyn Nets in the Barclays Center tonight, and the home team has prepared a dedicated welcome for its former player.

Although Harden managed to play only 80 games through two seasons for the Nets, the organization will play a tribute video for the guard, sportscaster Evan Roberts writes.

The star player is now part of the Philadelphia 76ers after the Nets traded him away in exchange for Ben Simmons last season. All three games between the franchises have so far been played in the City of Brotherly Love.

Harden played in two of the three matches and averaged 17 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals per game.

The star guard has been averaging 21.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 10.9 assists per game for the 76ers this season.

Harden joined the team in 2020 after a blockbuster trade that former the big trio of him, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving. After the trades that the Nets executed this week, none of the players are with the Nets anymore.
