PAO newcomer Matt Thomas was elbowed in the head area during Monday's Greek league win vs. Promitheas Patras (87-79).
After the game finished, Thomas was taken straight for medical tests to determine the extent of the injury.
Fortunately, his exams were clean and he will be at Dejan Radonjic's disposal for the Greek Cup Final 8.
The 28-year-old shooting guard posted 6 points (0/1 2PT, 2/5 3PT), 2 rebounds, 1 steal, and 2 turnovers in 16 minutes, before exiting the match early.
Georgios Papagiannis and Nate Walters were missing Panathinaikos' pieces tonight.
"Tomorrow we will have a better picture [about the injured players]. The facts change from day to day," coach Radonjic said post-game.
PAO forward Mateusz Ponitka has returned to action after the ankle sprain.
The Greek Cup is scheduled from February 16 to February 19.
